Giving Opportunities - Annual Fund
Annual Giving Programs are Nevada's yearly fund-raising efforts that provide the opportunity for alumni and friends to give to the university and the specific colleges, schools, or programs of their choice. Our goals include increasing the number of donors, securing annual gifts, and enhancing relationships between alumni, friends, and the University of Nevada, Reno. Ultimately, the Annual Giving Programs seek to apply your gifts to the enhancement of academic programs currently offered on campus in order to benefit Nevada students.

WHO
The University of Nevada, Reno's needs will continue to grow as state assistance shrinks. Active involvement is important to our future.

If you are a member of the alumni body, please consider that increased participation statistics figure prominently in the way Nevada is evaluated by corporate and foundation donors. By participating in the cycle of regular contributions, donors show their support for Nevada.

HOW
Gifts are solicited through direct mailing, Wolf Call, and personal visits. Mailings are sent throughout the year, providing opportunities to support Nevada as well as providing current information to alumni and friends. The Wolf Call telefunding program utilizes current Nevada students calling our alumni and friends to request support for University programs.

Join the Annual Fund by contributing to the Fund for Nevada at the following annual levels :

Friends of Nevada $1-249

University Partners $250-499

Sagebrush Circle $500-999

Artemisia Circle $1,000-2,499

Morrill Circle $2,500-4,999

Quadrangle Society $5,000-9,999

Nevada Society $10,000-24,999

Comstock Society $25,000 and above

WHERE
There are two ways to give to give to the University, by restricting your gift to the school, college or program of your choice, or by making an unrestricted contribution. Unrestricted monies given through the Annual Giving Program are important because they provide current and immediately expendable support for the University's basic operations. One way the University solicits for unrestricted funds is through the Class Endowment Challenge Campaign. This campaign solicits on a class-by-class basis, utilizing the spirit of competition to benefit the University. Funds raised are endowed so that they can be used into perpetuity. A portion of the interest from the funds are used for scholarships and wherever expendable dollars are needed most.

MATCHING GIFTS
Increase your contribution at no additional cost to you. Some companies will match charitable gifts. You can obtain a matching gift form from your Personnel or Human Resources Manager. Complete the requested information and return the form with your contribution. Note: Some companies also match spouses' gifts.
