Greetings,
We are grateful for the tremendous support of our alumni, friends and community partners. Through the support and dedication of our many volunteers and the efforts of our staff and faculty, we are able to secure financial support for a number of important services and activities, including major endowed programs, student scholarships, new equipment, buildings and libraries, the Alumni Association, Foundation Professorship Awards, faculty enhancement programs and more.
The University of Nevada, Reno Foundation was established in May 1981 and attracts private financial support and manages assets for the maximum benefit of the university. The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of alumni, community leaders, business leaders and other friends of the university. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization.
The staff of the university supports the Foundation's operation and is the central fund raising organization for all academic and public service programs. Development and Alumni Relations offers consultation and assistance to colleges, schools, and departments with fund raising goals.
