Year-end Gifts
Now is the time to make a gift to the University of Nevada, Reno before the end of the calendar year!
Members of the University of Nevada, Reno development team will be in the office throughout most of the holiday season to answer your questions about year-end giving, and to accept your credit card and stock gifts.

Please note, for tax purposes, mailed checks must be postmarked by December31, 2008 to count as a contribution for 2008, and stock and wire transfers must arrive in a University of Nevada, Reno Foundation account by December 31, 2008. Donors should be careful to give brokers time to complete the transaction, usually requiring a minimum of 3 business days, but may take longer if volumes are high. The donor must notify the Foundation of their intention to deliver securities so that the donation may be identified and recorded in a timely manner. Failure to notify the Foundation may result in the exclusion of the gift from the month-end totals.
Credit card transactions must be completed by 11:59 PST December 31, 2008 to count as a contribution for 2008. Gifts or pledges paid by credit card through the mail, must be received in our offices by 4:30 p.m. PST December 31. Gifts or pledges may be paid by credit card online anytime at the University’s secure web site and must be completed by 11:59 p.m. PST December 31, 2008 to count as a contribution for 2008.
